ABOUT
Timothy Wong, MD is board certified in gastroenterology / hepatology. He graduated from SUNY-Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his internship/residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Yale School of Medicine - Bridgeport Hospital.
Dr. Wong has conducted clinical research and participated in a variety of projects that resulted in publications in major medical journals. He is currently a clinical assistant attending at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and New York Presbyterian Hospital/Lower Manhattan Hospital of New York City. He is actively involved with community health projects that include live presentations and radio show consultation in a variety of topics.
Dr. Wong's office is accredited to perform in-office endoscopic procedures by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc (AAAASF). This means the office is held to the highest standards in regard to patient care and safety in performing invasive and non-invasive procedures. Sedation administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist is available for all endoscopic procedures.
